Ash Wednesday 2023

St. Francis Borgia Parish celebrated Ash Wednesday on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. Ash Wednesday marks the first day of the season of Lent. During the Mass, ashes are placed on each individual's forehead in the shape of a cross to represent repentance for sin.

Christmas Eve Mass 2016

December 24, 2016Six Christmas Masses were celebrated at St. Francis Borgia in 2016, starting Christmas Eve afternoon and ending late morning Christmas Day. Both churches were beautifully decorated for the season. The photos in this gallery were taken at the 3:30 p.m. Christmas Eve Mass at the North Church. On Thursday, May 9, Archbishop Jerome Listecki confirmed 54 of our high school juniors. It was a wonderful evening of celebration. Our pastor, Fr. Patrick Burns, concelebrated the Mass. Those confirmed received the empowerment, grace or gift of the Holy Spirit. The seven gifts of the Holy Spirit are: wisdom, understanding, knowledge, counsel, fortitude, piety and fear of the Lord. May the gifts the candidates received in Confirmation be with them as they become adults.
