Photos of Parish Life Corpus Christi Procession 2023 On Sunday, June 11, 2023 we celebrated the Feast of Corpus Christi. Fr. Kevin Tanel celebrated the Mass at 12 p.m. at the South Church which was also his first Mass at St. Francis Borgia after his recent ordination to the priesthood. A Eucharistic Procession followed Mass, and the Knights of Columbus held a cookout following the procession for all in attendance. 2023 All Souls Day Mass 2023 Rosary Across America Vocation Night 2023 Fr. From February 7-9, San Salvador Council Knights of Columbus hosted the Vatican International Eucharistic Miracles Exhibit at St. Francis Borgia. Over 100 miracles were highlighted where Eucharistic hosts miraculously turned into visible flesh and blood. Hundreds of parishioners and others from the area came to see the display and were amazed and edified. (Note: extensive information, including links to individual displays, can be viewed online at http://therealpresence.org/eucharst/mir/engl_mir.htm.) Eucharistic Procession June 14, 2020On June 14, the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi), ourpastor Father Patrick Burns, preceded by servers and Fr. John Burns, led parishioners in a Eucharistic Procession at the end of the 10 a.m. Mass. Many participated on this beautiful day, following Fr. Patrick with the monstrance from the church across and around our parish grounds. They paused to kneel and pray in a grassy area along Hwy NN. The procession continued back into the church where the Eucharist was then reposed. Having a Eucharistic Procession is a beautiful tradition of the Catholic Church, which deepens our devotion to the Eucharist and is a public witness to our faith in the Real Presence. 2020 Eucharistic Procession Eucharistic Miracles Exhibit Clergy and Leadership Appreciation Banquet 2020 Farewell Reception for Fr. Tom June 18, 2017Fr. Tom’s farewell reception was another wonderful opportunity to thank our pastor, Fr. Tom Eichenberger for 14+ years of service to St. Francis Borgia Parish. This family-friendly reception, with lots of food and fellowship, was held Sunday afternoon, June 18, in the SFB School gymnasium. This was an especially fitting location, because of Fr. Tom’s major role in the planning, fundraising, and construction of the Education & Activity Center, which houses our school. View more photos from previous years
