Holy Thursday and Good Friday 2022
The Easter Triduum was celebrated at the North Church on Holy Saturday, April 16. Mass began at dusk with lighting of the Easter Candle on the plaza of the North Church followed by a procession into Church to celebrate the rising of our Lord Jesus Christ. A beautiful welcome celebration was held for those being baptized, receiving their First Communion, Confirmation and being welcomed into the Church. A light reception was held following Masses for those in the RCIA program.
Boy Scout Advancement Ceremony
May 17, 2016Boy Scouts from St. Francis Borgia Parish Pack 3802 finished the year with an advancement ceremony on the parish grounds. On Tuesday, May 17, scouts and their family members enjoyed a cool evening around a roaring bonfire, roasting marshmallows and playing games. The colors were presented, the Pledge of Allegiance was recited, prayer was offered and special scouting achievements were honored. Parish Mission

October 2-3, 2019
As part of our 175th anniversary celebration, St. Francis Borgia hosted a well-attended parish mission called “Life to the Full: The Transformation of Suffering into Glory.” It was held the evenings of Wednesday, Oct. 2 and Thursday, Oct.3 at the North Church. The focus of this two-night mission was to explore what it means to be human, God’s incredible plan for our humanity, and how Jesus comes into our lives to heal us and free us from all that keeps us hiding in sin, shame, and sorrow. The speakers were Father John Burns and Sister Miriam James Heidland, SOLT.
