Uganda Visitors 2019 October 12-13, 2019Six members of St. Paul the Apostle Parish in Mukono arrived here in October 2019, marking the tenth time our two faith communities have exchanged visitors since 2001. They joined us for various activities including two Sunday Masses. The first was on October 6 to help us celebrate our 175th Anniversary Mass and celebratory brunch. The following Sunday, October 13, St. Paul’s pastor Fr. Paul Ssebitoogo delivered a mission appeal at weekend Masses. The purpose was to raise awareness and financial support for the mission work done in the Lugazi Diocese, in which St. Paul Parish is located. Afterwards, our parishioners and visitors enjoyed hospitality in the North Church gathering space. Easter Vigil 2019 April 20, 2019On Holy Saturday evening, the blessing of the Easter fire and the lighting of the Easter candle marked the beginning of the Easter Vigil. During the services of Light, Word, Water and Eucharist we heard stories of our salvation history and welcomed new members to our faith community. The Easter Vigil brought back many joyous alleluias to celebrate that Jesus Christ is risen! 2019 Uganda Visitors 2019 175th Anniversary Brunch and History Gallery Parish 175th Anniversary Mass with the Archbishop Pet Blessing 2019 Parish Mission Fish Fry and Bingo 2019 Dedication of Infants’ Memorial Fr.
