Photos of Parish Life Fr. Kevin Ordination After his ordination to the priesthood, Fr. Kevin Tanel celebrated his first Mass at St. Francis Borgia at the South Church on Sunday, June 11, 2023. Fr. Tanel spent four years assisting and learning at our parish through the seminary's Teaching Parish Program. His first Mass at St. Francis Borgia was followed by a Eucharistic Procession for the Feast of Corpus Christi and a cookout to celebrate. Holy Thursday and Good Friday 2022 The Easter Triduum was celebrated at the North Church on Holy Saturday, April 16. Mass began at dusk with lighting of the Easter Candle on the plaza of the North Church followed by a procession into Church to celebrate the rising of our Lord Jesus Christ. A beautiful welcome celebration was held for those being baptized, receiving their First Communion, Confirmation and being welcomed into the Church. Matthew Welcome Weekend Deacon Kevin's First Sermon Corpus Christi Procession 2022 May Crowning 2022 Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday 2022 Holy Thursday and Good Friday 2022 175th Anniversary Brunch and History Gallery October 6, 2019Following the 10 a.m. 175th Anniversary Mass on October 6, our school hosted a celebratory brunch and history gallery. The celebration included a complimentary continental breakfast and gallery exhibits prepared by grade level, telling the history of St. Francis Borgia Parish through our students’ eyes. Students worked on these exhibits throughout the 2018-2019 school year. This event celebrated 175 years and the children’s hard work. Outdoor Rosary Rally at South Church Oct. 13, 2018On Saturday, Oct. 13 at noon, a Public Square Rosary Rally was held outside the St. Francis Borgia South Church. This was one of thousands of similar public events across the country – and the fourth in Cedarburg since 2014. As stated in a local newspaper article publicizing the event, “There are those trying to push God from the public square. But without God, where will our leaders get the wisdom to solve the great problems we face?
