"Encountering God as Men" Series

In honor of St. Joseph -- the patron of fathers, families and the universal Church -- the second of the two-part "Encountering God as Men" series for men was held Tuesday evening, Mar. 23, at the North Church. The event included reflections on St. Joseph by parishioner Joe Bassindale. Participants also heard inspiring talks and personal stories of encountering God in suffering and in love, by guest speaker Bruce A. Lanser.

Uganda Visitors 2015

October 3 – October 18, 2015In October 2015, St. Francis Borgia welcomed four visitors from St. Paul the Apostle parish in Mukono, Uganda. The two parishes have enjoyed a twinning relationship since the year 2000. The visitors included Fr. Paul Ssebitoogo, Frank Njuba, Proscova (Prossy) Kkonde and Christine Nandugga. During their time with us, they were able to experience our parish, Cedarburg, and the greater Milwaukee community. Confirmation 2019

On Thursday, May 9, Archbishop Jerome Listecki confirmed 54 of our high school juniors. It was a wonderful evening of celebration. Our pastor, Fr. Patrick Burns, concelebrated the Mass. Those confirmed received the empowerment, grace or gift of the Holy Spirit. The seven gifts of the Holy Spirit are: wisdom, understanding, knowledge, counsel, fortitude, piety and fear of the Lord. May the gifts the candidates received in Confirmation be with them as they become adults.
