This included the Passion narrative from St. John’s Gospel and veneration of the cross -- with the congregation coming forward to gaze at the cross and offer a gesture of respect to all that it represents. Clergy & Leadership Appreciation Banquet 2019 Feb. 18, 2019On February 18, 2019, over 100 parishioners attended the 2019 Knights of Columbus Clergy & Leadership Appreciation Banquet at The Hub on Cedar Creek to honor Brenda Cline, the priests, and the deacons (and their wives) of St. Francis Borgia and St. Joseph parishes. Guests enjoyed a lively gathering, with a buffet meal and an inspirational presentation by the Stars & Stripes Honor Flight. Honored guests included Parish Director Brenda Cline, Deacon Don Karbara, Deacon Scott & Jenny Wiese, Deacon Mark & Ann Leonardelli, Deacon Al & Rocki Lazaga, Fr. Steve Lampe, Fr. Patrick Burns, Fr. Tom DeVries, Fr. Guy Gurath, Fr. Tom Lijewski, Fr. Jerry Repenshek, Fr. Don Schmidt, and Seminarians Tim Schumaker & Manuel Santos. Outdoor Rosary Rally at South Church Oct. 13, 2018On Saturday, Oct. 13 at noon, a Public Square Rosary Rally was held outside the St. Francis Borgia South Church. This was one of thousands of similar public events across the country – and the fourth in Cedarburg since 2014. As stated in a local newspaper article publicizing the event, “There are those trying to push God from the public square. But without God, where will our leaders get the wisdom to solve the great problems we face?
