Photos of Parish Life Fr. Kevin Ordination After his ordination to the priesthood, Fr. Kevin Tanel celebrated his first Mass at St. Francis Borgia at the South Church on Sunday, June 11, 2023. Fr. Tanel spent four years assisting and learning at our parish through the seminary's Teaching Parish Program. His first Mass at St. Francis Borgia was followed by a Eucharistic Procession for the Feast of Corpus Christi and a cookout to celebrate. Celebrating Fr. Michael Malucha May 30, 2021Fr. Michael Malucha, a newly-ordained priest, celebrated a Mass of Thanksgiving at St. Francis Borgia at 10 a.m. Sunday, May 30. Our pastor Fr. Patrick Burns and former pastor Fr. Tom Eichenberger concelebrated. Parishioners have come to know Fr. Michael, because he participated in Masses here during his time in the seminary. Many joined in congratulating him at a reception immediately following Mass. Fr. Jeff Dorr celebrates Mass at St. Francis Borgia August 7, 2021Newly-ordained priest, Fr. Jeff Dorr, S.J., celebrated the 4:30 p.m. Mass at the North Church on Saturday, Aug. 7. Fr. Jeff was ordained a Jesuit priest on June 12 at Church of the Gesu in Milwaukee. The son of long-time parishioners John and Pat Dorr, Fr. Jeff grew up in our parish, attending Mass at the historic stone church and graduating from the parish grade school. Shane Johnson celebrates Mass on Divine Mercy Sunday Good Friday 2021 "Encountering God as Men" Series Visit to Uganda 2017 August 3 – 13, 2017In August 2017, a team of nine parish “pilgrims” departed for a visit to our sister parish, St. Paul the Apostle Parish, in Mukono, Uganda. Their plan included visiting many families, along with schools and other sites. Among the stops was St. Francis Borgia High School, built with the generous donations of our parishioners and named in our honor. Enrollment had reached 600 students, which was up 200 children from two years prior.
