Photos of Parish Life Clergy Night 2023 Our annual Clergy Dinner was held on February 7,2023 at the River Club in Mequon. This dinner honored the pastors, helping priests, deacons and seminarians of St. Francis Borgia and St. Joseph Parish in Grafton: Fr. Patrick Burns, Fr. Matthew Ferch, Fr. Nick Baumgardner, Fr, Tom Eichenberger, Deacon Kevin Tanel, Deacon Al Lazaga, Deacon Scott Wiese and seminarians Brady Gagne and Peter Danner. Tom Pipines, retired Fox 6 sportscaster was the featured speaker, sharing stories of faith and the intersection with the sports community. Over 150 attended this event, a 50% increase over last year. Donations totaled $9,200 took the form of scholarships for our four seminarians and cash contributions to the schools in these two parishes covered by our Knights of Columbus San Salvador Council. Fr. Eds Requiem Mass The Mass of Chrsitian Burial for Fr. Ed. Wawrzyniakowski was held on August 11 at the North Church. Fr. Ed passed away at the age of 92 and was St. Francis Borgia's 27th pastor serving "27 years and 4 months", our longest serving pastor on August 2, 2022. Shane Johnson celebrates Mass on Divine Mercy Sunday Good Friday 2021 "Encountering God as Men" Series Visit to Uganda 2017 August 3 – 13, 2017In August 2017, a team of nine parish “pilgrims” departed for a visit to our sister parish, St. Paul the Apostle Parish, in Mukono, Uganda. Their plan included visiting many families, along with schools and other sites. Among the stops was St. Francis Borgia High School, built with the generous donations of our parishioners and named in our honor. Enrollment had reached 600 students, which was up 200 children from two years prior. Photos in this gallery illustrate various aspects of St. Paul Parish in Mukono that were experienced on this visit to Uganda. Farewell Dinner for Fr. Tom June 16, 2017On Friday, June 16, a sit-down dinner was held at Shully’s in Thiensville to honor our pastor, Fr. Tom Eichenberger, for his 14+ years of service to the parish. Fr. Tom described it this way: “The glasses were full; the laughter was loud; the program was short; and the applause was almost thunderous. Even Archbishop Listecki made an appearance by video.
