June 6, 2021Sunday, June 6, was the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ – Corpus Christi. After a special 11:30 a.m. Mass at the historic South Church, more than 150 persons processed on a one-mile prayerful journey from the church to Cedar Creek Park. After prayers, the procession returned to the South Church. The Eucharistic Procession was led by Fr. Patrick Burns, Fr. John Burns and Fr. Timothy Schumaker. On Sunday, June 15, at 9 a.m., Fr. Justin Lopina presided at his first Mass at St. Francis Borgia as our new associate pastor. Fr. Justin came to St. Francis Borgia in 2010 as a pastoral intern from St. Francis de Sales Seminary. In April 2013 he was ordained a deacon and continued serving our parish. Fr. Justin was ordained a priest on May 17, 2014. We are thrilled that his first assignment is as associate pastor right here at St. Francis Borgia.Click to view gallery.
