Both will be ordained to the priesthood on Saturday, May 15. The Council “adopted” Michael and Tim several years ago, providing scholarships and moral support during their seminary formation. Both men have ties to our parish: St. Francis Borgia was Michael’s “teaching parish” the past few years; Tim is a member of our parish’s San Salvador Council KCs, and his parents attend Mass here. Eucharistic Procession June 14, 2020On June 14, the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi), ourpastor Father Patrick Burns, preceded by servers and Fr. John Burns, led parishioners in a Eucharistic Procession at the end of the 10 a.m. Mass. Many participated on this beautiful day, following Fr. Patrick with the monstrance from the church across and around our parish grounds. They paused to kneel and pray in a grassy area along Hwy NN. The procession continued back into the church where the Eucharist was then reposed. Having a Eucharistic Procession is a beautiful tradition of the Catholic Church, which deepens our devotion to the Eucharist and is a public witness to our faith in the Real Presence. Farewell Receptions for Lana Schumacher April 29-30, 2017Receptions were held after the 4:30 p.m., 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Masses April 29-30 to honor Lana Schumacher, our Director of Liturgical Music, for her 36+ years of service to our parish. Parishioners stopped down in the church hall to personally express their appreciation and wish her well in her retirement. Afterwards, as part of a thank-you, Lana wrote: “It has been an honor and privilege to serve this parish the past 36 years and to witness the growth of singing within the liturgies that has developed over the years.” 2019 Uganda Visitors 2019 175th Anniversary Brunch and History Gallery Parish 175th Anniversary Mass with the Archbishop Pet Blessing 2019 Parish Mission Fish Fry and Bingo 2019 Dedication of Infants’ Memorial Fr.
