June 6, 2021Sunday, June 6, was the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ – Corpus Christi. After a special 11:30 a.m. Mass at the historic South Church, more than 150 persons processed on a one-mile prayerful journey from the church to Cedar Creek Park. After prayers, the procession returned to the South Church. The Eucharistic Procession was led by Fr. Patrick Burns, Fr. John Burns and Fr. Timothy Schumaker. June 16, 2017On Friday, June 16, a sit-down dinner was held at Shully’s in Thiensville to honor our pastor, Fr. Tom Eichenberger, for his 14+ years of service to the parish. Fr. Tom described it this way: “The glasses were full; the laughter was loud; the program was short; and the applause was almost thunderous. Even Archbishop Listecki made an appearance by video. It was thrilling, and one of the top moments of my life.”
June 18, 2017Fr. Tom’s farewell reception was another wonderful opportunity to thank our pastor, Fr. Tom Eichenberger for 14+ years of service to St. Francis Borgia Parish. This family-friendly reception, with lots of food and fellowship, was held Sunday afternoon, June 18, in the SFB School gymnasium. This was an especially fitting location, because of Fr. Tom’s major role in the planning, fundraising, and construction of the Education & Activity Center, which houses our school.
