Fr. Patrick Burns concelebrated and Deacon Michael Malucha assisted. Fifty-one young Catholics from our parish were confirmed at this Mass. It was a beautiful celebration and we continue to pray that they deepen their faith and turn to God each and every day! Eucharistic Procession June 14, 2020On June 14, the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi), ourpastor Father Patrick Burns, preceded by servers and Fr. John Burns, led parishioners in a Eucharistic Procession at the end of the 10 a.m. Mass. Many participated on this beautiful day, following Fr. Patrick with the monstrance from the church across and around our parish grounds. They paused to kneel and pray in a grassy area along Hwy NN. The procession continued back into the church where the Eucharist was then reposed. Having a Eucharistic Procession is a beautiful tradition of the Catholic Church, which deepens our devotion to the Eucharist and is a public witness to our faith in the Real Presence. Prayer Service for Aborted Children Sept. 8, 2018On Saturday, Sept. 8, a memorial prayer service was held for aborted children at the Rachel statue outside the St. Francis Borgia-South Church. This was the sixth annual National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children. At the service, Fr. Patrick delivered a powerful reflection, participants prayed and sang “Amazing Grace,” and the Knights of Columbus stood guard by our precious Rachel statue witnessing to life. The prayer service was organized by the St. Francis Borgia Respect Life Ministry. Prayer services were held throughout the country on this day to commemorate the more than 55 million children who have lost their lives to legal abortion since 1973, and to remind our society of the humanity of the unborn child. 2019 Uganda Visitors 2019 175th Anniversary Brunch and History Gallery Parish 175th Anniversary Mass with the Archbishop Pet Blessing 2019 Parish Mission Fish Fry and Bingo 2019 Dedication of Infants’ Memorial Fr.
