Good Friday 2023
Good Friday Mass began with the conclusion of Adoration. Over 500 attended this Mass at 3 p.m. at the North Church. The veneration of the cross was presented, many bowed, touched, kissed or genuflected at the cross. The Passion of Christ was read during Mass and was concluded in an optional silence veneration of the cross.

Parish 175th Anniversary Mass with the Archbishop

October 6, 2019
On Sunday, Oct. 6, Archbishop Jerome Listecki joined us at the 10 a.m. Mass at the North Church to help us celebrate the 175th Anniversary of St. Francis Borgia Parish. Other honored guests were Fr. John Burns (speaker at our parish mission nights and brother of Fr. Patrick); former pastors Fr. Ed Wawrzyniakowski and Fr. Tom Eichenberger; and Fr. Paul Ssebitoogo, pastor of our twin parish in Uganda. Other visitors from Uganda, along with seminary intern Kevin Tanel, were also in attendance. The archbishop presided at the Mass, with Fr. Patrick, Fr. John, Fr. Tom and Fr. Paul concelebrating.

Milwaukee Church Tour
May 31, 2013On Friday, May 31, 2013 the St. Francis Borgia Women's Guild sponsored a tour of significant Milwaukee churches for interested parishioners. Our bus was full for the tour, including several men! The time passed all too quickly as we visited St. Francis of Assisi, St. Benedict the Moor (St. Ben's), and Old St. Mary's in downtown, Milwaukee. The tour was fascinating, with excellent guides at each parish. Since we are one of the supporting parishes for the outreach programs at St. Ben's, that tour was of particular interest. Each church reflects very different missions, and the history of those parishes. Hopefully, the photos reflect the beauty of each of the toured churches. We felt very welcome at each of the stops, and look forward to possible future tours. Click to view gallery.
