Photos of Parish Life Rosary Across America St. Francis Borgia hosted Relevant Radio with the Rosary Across America Live Radio Broadcast on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. Relevant Radio host Rev. Francis J. Hoffman, "Fr. Rocky", led the rosary. Children from St. Francis Borgia Parish and School announced the intentions for each decade. After the rosary, Fr. Rocky gave a talk on the Blessed Virgin Mary. Deacon Kevin's First Sermon Shortly after being ordained, Deacon Kevin Tanel joined the parish for daily masses at the South Church and weekend Masses at the North Church. Among preaching at daily and weekend Masses, he was involved with Totus Tuus and visits with parishioners. Deacon Kevin has served St. Francis Borgia in the past three years as a seminarian. Seminarian Sendoff Dinner 2021 May 10, 2021On Monday, May 10, the San Salvador Council Knights of Columbus hosted a Seminarian Send-off Dinner at the South Church for Deacons Michael Malucha and Tim Schumaker. Both will be ordained to the priesthood on Saturday, May 15. The Council “adopted” Michael and Tim several years ago, providing scholarships and moral support during their seminary formation. Parishioners stopped down in the church hall to personally express their appreciation and wish her well in her retirement. Afterwards, as part of a thank-you, Lana wrote: “It has been an honor and privilege to serve this parish the past 36 years and to witness the growth of singing within the liturgies that has developed over the years.” View more photos from previous years
