On Sunday, June 11, 2023 we celebrated the Feast of Corpus Christi. Fr. Kevin Tanel celebrated the Mass at 12 p.m. at the South Church which was also his first Mass at St. Francis Borgia after his recent ordination to the priesthood. A Eucharistic Procession followed Mass, and the Knights of Columbus held a cookout following the procession for all in attendance.

Shortly after being ordained, Deacon Kevin Tanel joined the parish for daily masses at the South Church and weekend Masses at the North Church. Among preaching at daily and weekend Masses, he was involved with Totus Tuus and visits with parishioners. Deacon Kevin has served St. Francis Borgia in the past three years as a seminarian.

October 3, 2021
The annual blessing of pets took place Sunday afternoon, Oct. 3, on the plaza at the North Church. This event helped us celebrate the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals. Fr. Patrick Burns provided the blessing; he was assisted by seminarian Kevin Tanel.

June 16, 2017
On Friday, June 16, a sit-down dinner was held at Shully’s in Thiensville to honor our pastor, Fr. Tom Eichenberger, for his 14+ years of service to the parish. Fr. Tom described it this way: “The glasses were full; the laughter was loud; the program was short; and the applause was almost thunderous. Even Archbishop Listecki made an appearance by video. It was thrilling, and one of the top moments of my life.”
