The event included reflections on St. Joseph by parishioner Joe Bassindale. Participants also heard inspiring talks and personal stories of encountering God in suffering and in love, by guest speaker Bruce A. Lanser. Celebrating Fr. Michael Malucha May 30, 2021Fr. Michael Malucha, a newly-ordained priest, celebrated a Mass of Thanksgiving at St. Francis Borgia at 10 a.m. Sunday, May 30. Our pastor Fr. Patrick Burns and former pastor Fr. Tom Eichenberger concelebrated. Parishioners have come to know Fr. Michael, because he participated in Masses here during his time in the seminary. Shane Johnson celebrates Mass on Divine Mercy Sunday Good Friday 2021 "Encountering God as Men" Series 175th Anniversary Brunch and History Gallery October 6, 2019Following the 10 a.m. 175th Anniversary Mass on October 6, our school hosted a celebratory brunch and history gallery. The celebration included a complimentary continental breakfast and gallery exhibits prepared by grade level, telling the history of St. Francis Borgia Parish through our students’ eyes. Students worked on these exhibits throughout the 2018-2019 school year. This event celebrated 175 years and the children’s hard work. SAM Event with Ben Wagner: Hope and Healing October 12, 2017What a beautiful, grace-filled evening we experienced with stories, music, prayer and time with our Lord in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at the SAM (Substance Addiction Ministry) event on Oct. 12. The topic was “Hope and Healing: Overcoming Adversity through Stories, Songs and Prayer.” Special thanks to Ben Wagner, our Catholic songwriter/musician, Fr.
