May is the month of Mary, and one way to celebrate it is with the Procession and Crowning of the Image of the Virgin Mary. This was held Sunday, May 1, after the 10 a.m. Mass. Fr. Tom Eichenberger, along with First Communicants, their families and other parishioners, processed from the plaza bell tower to the Shrine to Mary on the parish grounds. At the shrine, they sang the litany of Mary. Two children – one from Catholic school and one from Christian Formation – crowned the statue of Mary.
