All ages are welcome to participate in a 5K run/walk fundraiser that will benefit Alex Klug, a senior at Cedarburg High School. Alex was diagnosed with leukemia the beginning of the school year. Thankfully, he is doing well, but still needs further treatments. All proceeds go to his medical care.
The event, 5K’lug’ Step Up to Cancer, is Saturday, May 20 at 10 a.m., starting on the track at Cedarburg High School. Registration will be available prior to the start. The event is sponsored by CHS National Honors Society.
Further information and registration forms can be found on the City of Cedarburg Parks & Recreation Department Facebook page. Cost is $15 for kids ages 10 and younger, $25 per student or $30 per adult. Extra donations are much appreciated. Contact the parish office with questions.
