Environment Committee

The St. Francis Borgia Environment Committee is the ministry of enhancing the church environment to create a welcoming atmosphere which inspires and encourages the assembly’s participation in the liturgy. This team takes an active role in setting up and decorating our worship spaces for liturgical events throughout the year. We assist with these duties and more:

• Preparing the church and sanctuary for the seasons of Lent, Easter, Advent, and Christmas
• Working within the team to identify creative ideas to enhance the church environment
• Planning, arranging, and watering plants and flowers for all liturgical seasons
• Changing altar cloths as appropriate
• Upkeep of linens and dusting the churches
