Are you a teen who is looking for an opportunity to serve people in your own community? There are still openings for you to participate in the archdiocesan Reach Out Reach In week, July 10-15. Reach Out Reach In is a summer service week for teens ages 15 through 18, who have completed 9th grade and who want to be involved in direct service and social action. The sites, located around the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, include homeless shelters, adult day care, community organizations, meal programs, family/organic farms, childcare and more. Flyers are available at the Information Station in the gathering space or at Archdiocese of Milwaukee/RORI. The website also features three great newspaper articles on past years’ programs. The program is local and is a great substitute for those who would like to serve others but are not able to attend a mission trip. The cost is reasonable ($235) and scholarships are available.
