The St. Francis Borgia Men’s Group is starting their fall session of the popular “That Man Is You” program beginning Sept. 19. Again this year there will be both a Monday morning and a Wednesday evening session.
The Monday morning program starts on Sept. 19 and concludes on Dec. 12. The program runs from 6-7:15 a.m. in the church hall of the North Church.
The Wednesday evening program starts on Sept. 21 and concludes on Dec. 14. It runs from 6:30-7:45 p.m. in the basement hall of the SOUTH Church.
Both the morning and evening programs are identical each week. You are welcome to come to either. Also know that if your schedule does not allow you to make all the sessions that is OK.
This fall’s program is entitled “A Light to the Nations” and is heavily influenced by St. John Paul II’s beautiful writings about “The Family” and modern cultures attacks on them. In his “Letter to Families,” he wrote: “The family has been placed at the heart of the great struggle between good and evil, between life and death and between love and all that is opposed to love.”
This program sets forth the true vision of the union of man and woman such that – as JPII said – “there is none like it in all the earth.” John Paul II was sent to us by God as a messenger and guide. As men, we must understand the attacks on our families and be armed with the truth to be able to protect them.
There will be someone from TMIY in the back of church after Mass the weekend of Sept. 10-11 to answer your questions.
