The American Legion Auxiliary invites everyone in the community to participate in these upcoming events to honor veterans and the military:
- May 10-11 – Poppy Days: American Legion & Auxiliary will be distributing poppies in most Ozaukee County communities to honor service of veterans and active service members. All donations received go directly to help veterans, their widows and orphans.
- May 18 – Sweat4Vets 2.5 mile walk: At 10 a.m. the walk starts at the Grafton Post and continues to the Cedarburg Post. For registration info, visit www.sweat4vetswi.com.
- May 27 – Memorial Day: Parade in downtown Cedarburg begins at 9 a.m. with the memorial service at 10 a.m. at the Legion Park on Portland Rd. and Hilbert Ave. The community is invited for a free Sloppy Joe lunch after the memorial service.
