Can you spare an hour for an opportunity to save a child’s life?
The visible, public centerpiece of 40 Days for Life is a focused, 40-day, non-stop, round-the-clock prayer vigil outside a single Planned Parenthood center or other abortion facility in your community. It is a peaceful and educational presence. Those who are called to stand witness during this 24-hour-a-day presence send a powerful message to the community about the tragic reality of abortion. Heated arguments never change minds, but through prayer and fasting, peaceful vigils and community outreach 40 Days for Life has saved 19,198 babies and closed 221 abortion clinics since 2007.
Please prayerfully consider joining fellow members of St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church at the Milwaukee vigil location, to peacefully pray for the mothers, babies, abortion staff and for the end of abortion. We will pray outside Affiliated Medical Services (1428 N. Farwell in Milwaukee) on the public sidewalk. The St. Francis Borgia shifts are Tuesdays at 1 p.m., Thursdays at 9 a.m., and Saturdays at 7 a.m. Carpooling for each shift meets at the South Church parking lot, but you are welcome to meet the group at the vigil location. Contact the parish office to sign up.
