Knit and Crochet Ministry gives update; prayer shawls available

We have had a very productive 2021. The Knit and Crochet Ministry has created 21 lap robes, 21 shawls, 147 hats/caps (for babies, chemo patients, and for winter), 54 pairs of mittens, 42 baby blankets, and 9 scarves. These items were given to Aurora Hospital, other area hospitals, The House of Peace, Women’s Care Center, and St. Francis Borgia. Baby blankets are given to families when their babies are baptized here. Prayer shawls are blessed by Father Patrick and they are available in the parish office.

Please take one for yourself or someone who needs comfort and prayers. (Recipients do not need to be parish members.) Please consider joining our group. We meet on Tuesdays from 1:00-2:30 p.m., in the North Church hall. All skill levels are welcome. We also accept any donations of yarn.
