The Discalced Carmelite Friars of Holy Hill will be offering an Advent Day of Recollection on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. As a beautiful way to prepare for the commemoration of God’s presence among men, this year’s conference will focus on “Our Lady: One Like Us.” As we prepare for the coming of the Lord, we turn to Our Lady, who shows us how to live united to Christ by her daily participation in the life of her Son.
