We are kicking off the Love One Another Campaign on the weekend of Sept. 18-19. Our parish’s participation in the campaign, along with all 188 parishes in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, will meet needs of our parish and support Catholic ministries in our 10 counties of southeastern Wisconsin.
Our goal is to raise $2,290,042 in pledges payable over five years from our parish families. Sixty percent of the funds from these pledges will go toward the parish needs listed below.
- North Church Improvements | $320,000: Improvements will include enhancing our outdoor plaza and roof replacement on all parish buildings.
- Elimination of the Education & Activity Center Mortgage | $335,000: The Education & Activity Center houses our school and is also utilized for various parish functions, including Christian Formation. It was built in 2015. Through this capital campaign, we will eliminate the debt in full which will allow us to focus more deeply on our mission.
- South Church Renovation | $719,025: The South Church is a beacon of faith and Catholicism in our community. We utilize this site for daily Mass, weddings, select Masses, as well as Eucharistic Adoration. With Adoration, this church has been revitalized and is a center for prayer throughout the week for parishioners and visitors alike. This campaign will allow us to restore the original beauty of the space by doing work that includes installing and restoring beautiful altars as well as redoing the floors and repainting the interior of the Church. It will also allow us to do maintenance which includes stone tuckpointing and bell tower restoration.
The remaining funds are for new and expanded Catholic ministries for:
- The poor and those in need
- Saint Francis de Sales Seminary
- Catholic schools
- Vital ministries throughout the Archdiocese of Milwaukee
