As a First Eucharist service project, non-perishable food items were collected and donated to Family Sharing of Ozaukee County. This note was received from the organization:
“Thank you very much for your collection of food items on behalf of Family Sharing as part of your First Communion Service Project. Your efforts resulted in a donation totaling 283 pounds of food items. Your generous help in meeting the needs of Ozaukee County families is greatly appreciated!
“Over 500 families come to the Family Sharing Food Pantry regularly and depend on us for groceries, school supplies, children’s winter jackets, and other personal and household necessities. “Your donations of food items in May were enjoyed by many families and your generosity and continued support are very much appreciated.
