High School Confirmation Program

An important milestone for Catholic teens is the celebration of Confirmation typically in 11th grade. The initial faith formation takes place in 9th and 10th grade and final preparation for the sacrament continues in 11th grade. Most teens are confirmed in their junior or senior year of high school. Catholic faith formation, volunteer service and retreat attendance are requirements of this three year preparation cycle. If your child is enrolled in a Catholic high school, these phases are incorporated within the 9th-10th high school curriculum. Teens attending Catholic high school should join in the parish program for the sacrament preparation phase in 11th grade. Teens attending a public high school should be enrolled in the parish program from 9th through 11th grade. If you have questions about any of the high school formation requirements, please contact Maria Spenner, Directory of Youth Ministry at 262-377-1070, ext. 228. or send an email.
