Easter is a season of great joy and excitement. We hear wonderful stories of the apostles going out and sharing the news of the resurrection. What happens when the excitement of the season wears off?
We still need to learn how to live a good and balanced life of faith, acknowledging that we will face ups and downs. This is where the Wisdom Books of the Bible help us. From the Book of Ecclesiastes to Job and Wisdom, Proverbs and Sirach, each of these books has a lesson for us in this Easter Season.
Consider yourself invited to come along on a four-week journey to read and learn about these beautifully written books. Sessions will be held Tuesday evenings (May 2-23) from 6:30-8 p.m. in the library of the Education & Activity Center or Thursday mornings (May 4-25) from 10 -11:30 a.m. in the church hall. The same material is covered on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
