Well-Read Mom (WRM) is a way for women to reclaim time to read the best. The goal is to provide a way for women to read high-quality literature together and grow in friendship in the process. This year we will be exploring the theme of “the family” with the help of Lorraine Hansberry, Lucy Maud Montgomery, and Mother Veronica Namoyo Le Goulard, among others.
Our WRM groups read one book per month and meet to discuss once per month. We will start in September with simply getting to know each other, the WRM program, and discover the title of the first book you will be reading.
If evening activities keep you busy, consider joining the morning group. Little ones in tow? Bring them along! Meetings will be held on Thursday mornings, with the introductory meeting on Sept. 16 from 9-10:30 a.m.
If you work during the day or prefer to leave the children behind, consider joining the evening group. Meetings will be held Thursday evenings, with the introductory meeting on Sept. 16 from 7:30-9 p.m.
